School Coach in Collaboration

We are now creating a completely new function in our primary schools – school coach in collaboration.

A mission for those who want to work closely with students, build relationships, and collaborate to provide children with the right support at the right time.

The Role of School Coach with Us

As a school coach in collaboration, you will be the adult who is there when it is needed the most. The role suits you who already have experience working with children and young people and who know that trust is built through courage, presence, and clarity.

You will:

• Work closely with relationships
• Coordinate and complement when necessary with social interventions for individual students, families, groups, or phenomena.
• Build trust and create structures that help students with norm-breaking behaviors.
• Have a close, everyday collaboration with social services, police, and the school's student health team.
• Become a safe point for students in vulnerable situations.
• Work in close dialogue with student health – without replacing the important role of the counselor.

This is a role for you who thrive in the borderland between social work and school, where flexibility and proactivity are a natural part of everyday life.

Your Profile

As a person, you thrive in a daily life where you both work independently and in close collaboration with other professionals. You have security, integrity, and a good ability to meet children in difficult situations. Furthermore, you want to work solution-focused and close to the students' reality, with a commitment to creating positive changes in their everyday lives. You express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a social worker, behavioral scientist, or have a university education that we assess as equivalent.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience from fieldwork, social services, HVB, treatment activities, outpatient care, or similar.

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer four full-time project positions for two years with appointment according to agreement.

Selection will take place during week 2 of 2026.

• You will jointly be responsible for six schools within a limited geographical area in Kungsbacka.
